Routers
Routers are not necessary. You only need one if you are running a wireless laptop or if you have more than one computer. Another option would be a switch.

Setup router password - * Network Security

Depending on your router, if you use it for wireless networking, you should consider adding a password to it so that your bandwidth can't be stolen.

Eagle One Wireless doesn't support Linksys routers. We recommend using Netgear or Belkin.

Microsoft.com provides downloads, updates, tech news, consumer reports, and more. It is a trusted site that provides alot of useful information. For lots of information including all of the above, click here. Also, the manufacturer of your PC will have application information (which everyone needs to know for whichever particular operating system running). Manufacturers usually will have troubleshooting guides and services on their website. They may even have the direct web address printed on the equipment for your convenience.
